Erin Marenna O’Luanaigh is a poet and jazz singer from Connecticut. Her debut collection, Avail, was published by Paul Dry Books in January 2026, and her poems appear in The Yale Review, Bad Lilies, AGNI, The Southern Review, Subtropics, 32 Poems, Wild Court, Nimrod, The Hopkins Review, and elsewhere.
A graduate of the University of Florida’s MFA program, she is currently a PhD candidate in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Utah, where she is a Steffensen Cannon Fellow. From 2023 to 2025, she was the English Department’s Vice-Presidential Administrative Fellow, overseeing the Guest Writers Series and the Authors in the Community outreach program, and serving as the Associate Director of the Utah Symposium in Science and Literature. From 2024 to 2025, she was Senior Poetry Editor of Quarterly West.
She lives in Salt Lake City and is co-host of the film and literature podcast (sub)Text.
